Communities That Care: The Communities That Care (CTC) Survey instruments are posted on the home page of the Prevention Platform as Word and PDF files for easy downloading and local reproduction. The training component and survey data analysis that was previously offered through Channing Bete will not be available through SAMHSA/CSAP. Overall, the intention is to incorporate the viable components of the CTC planning process into the Strategic Prevention Framework, one of many tools that can be utilized by communities to develop comprehensive, data-driven plans. CSAP's Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Center for Excellence: The Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Center for Excellence provides training and TA to a wide variety of people including persons with FASD, members of their families, healthcare providers, social workers, researchers, and community health advocates. Centers for the Application of Prevention Technologies (CAPTs): CSAP's CAPTs bridge the gap between effective science-based prevention strategies and practices through the dissemination of prevention knowledge and the application of that knowledge in the field. Foundations of Prevention: An online course in the core knowledge of substance abuse prevention. Prevention Education Tools: CSAP designs and implements prevention education programs that range from raising the awareness about the harms of underage drinking to helping families live a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Older Americans Substance Abuse & Mental Health Technical Assistance Center: The mission of the Older Americans Substance Abuse and Mental Health Technical Assistance Center is to enhance the quality of life and promote the physical and mental well-being of older Americans through the provision of technical assistance by reducing the risk for and incidence of substance abuse and mental health issues late in life.
